A team of senior district officials today conducted an inspection visit to Mt. Wati Health Centre III to assess the progress of ongoing construction works. The delegation included Deputy Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) Otim Alex, District Health Officer (DHO) Amandi Simon Ongua, and Secretary for Works and Technical Services Ezama James Nadua.
During the visit, the officials evaluated the quality of work, compliance with project timelines, and overall implementation of the construction project aimed at improving healthcare service delivery in the area.
Speaking at the site, Deputy CAO Otim Alex expressed satisfaction with the level of progress but emphasized the need for strict adherence to quality standards and timely completion.
DHO Amandi Simon Ongua reiterated the importance of the facility in enhancing healthcare access for residents, noting that once completed, the health centre will significantly improve maternal and child health services, immunization, and general outpatient care.
Secretary for Works and Technical Services Ezama James Nadua assured the community that the district remains committed to ensuring the project is completed efficiently, with all necessary resources and oversight in place.
The visit is part of ongoing efforts by the district leadership to monitor and support infrastructural projects aimed at improving public service delivery. The team encouraged contractors to maintain high standards and complete the project within the stipulated timeframe.
