Ugandan President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has arrived in South Sudan at the invitation of His Excellency President Salva Kiir Mayardit. The visit underscores the commitment of both nations to strengthening bilateral relations and fostering regional cooperation.

In a statement upon his arrival, President Museveni expressed his anticipation for discussions that will enhance collaboration between Uganda and South Sudan. "I look forward to our discussions aimed at strengthening bilateral relations and enhancing cooperation between our two nations," he stated.

Uganda and South Sudan share strong historical ties, with Uganda playing a crucial role in South Sudan’s peace process and economic development.
