Luzira, Uganda — In a significant step towards enhancing healthcare services within the Uganda Prisons Service, the top management team led by Commissioner General of Prisons, Can. Dr. Johnson Byabashaija, conducted a comprehensive inspection of the newly completed Luzira Prison Staff Clinic.
The state-of-the-art medical facility is equipped with modern amenities including fully functional admission wards, an Intensive Care Unit (ICU), maternity wards, surgical theaters, and diagnostic centers. These advanced features are designed to provide high-quality healthcare services to prison staff and their families, reducing dependency on external health facilities.
