The former resident district commissioner of Arua, Nahori Oyaa appealed to the people of Ayivu clan to stop fighting among themselves over leadership and leaves in unity together with foreigners to develop the area. During his thank giving ceremony over the weekend at Muni cell, Muni ward in Ayivu division, Arua city Nahori Oyaa says that he has realized there is a lot of bickering among the people of Ayivu clan over simple matter which is defaming the name of people of the area.
The division mayor of Ayivu, Malon Avutia says that the fight among the elders of the clan is making work very hard for them as political leaders and also son of the soil of the area.
The mayor of Arua city, Wadri Sam Nyakua noted that so many elders in the are claiming to be the chief of the clan which is causing a lot of division among the people of the clan, adding that Nahori Oyaa should organize a meeting immediately to resolve the escalating hatred within the people of the area.
The former Member of Parliament for the then Ayivu constituency, Benard Atiku advised the former resident district commissioners of Arua, Nahori Oyaa to take lead in organizing clan peace deloque to handle the matter.
The area Member of Parliament for Ayivu West, John Lematia pledged on behalf of the politicians in the area to support the clan dialogue meeting of Ayivu.
This year a section of Ayivu clan enthroned Manase Yuma as the chief of Ayivu clan.
