West Nile Youth Forum Management  has cautioned the youths in West Nile to  desist from unnecessary spending of money during the festive season but should work hard and invest  the money to develop the area. 

This was aired during a press briefing recently in which the chairperson board of West Nile Youth Forum, Mrs. Sarah Onyiru appealed to the youth of the area to avoid over spending during this festive season but instead invest the money and also work hard to make wealth to develop the area in her statement she noted that the region has suffered since colonial time, that the colonists gave the lower positions to the people of the Area coupled with the prolonged war past   in the place.

Mr. George Enzama, the Executive Director of the organization believes that the youth of the area if they work hard can transform the economic status of the area.

RT Rev Sabino Ochan Odoki, the Bishop of Arua diocese who doubles as the patron of the organization urged the youth and the public to enjoy festive season with family rather than loitering around.

According to the West Nile sub region is the second poorest sub region in Uganda.
