Day 2 of the USSSA Regional Qualifiers delivered high drama and crucial developments, with Arua Public SS crashing out of the tournament after a third consecutive defeat, while Mvara SS received full clearance to join the competition, though not without setbacks.
Arua Public SS Eliminated
Hopes were high for Arua Public SS heading into the tournament, but a string of narrow losses saw their campaign come to a disappointing end. The side lost 0-1 to both Nyapea SS and Rhino Camp High, following an earlier defeat, cementing their exit with no points and no goals scored.
Mvara SS Cleared for Action
In a major update, Mvara SS—initially sidelined over verification issues—has now been officially cleared to participate. However, they will proceed without two of their squad members who were disqualified. Despite the setback, Mvara is set to make their tournament debut tomorrow and could shake up the group standings.
