Leo football club thrashed Anyafio FC 4-1 in the Arua District 4th division league match held at the Salim Saleh play playground on Tuesday.
Skipper Madima Vincent baggd hat-trick and one goal from Acidri Samuel were enough as the salim Saleh based outfit earned maximum points at home over relegated Anyafio fc, Vincent's hatrick pushes his goal tally to 8 goals the club's leading top scorer this season followed by Acridri Samuel on 7goals , Gondi scored the consolation goal as Anyafio lost on the day.
Its a third win in a row for Leo football club which increased their points tally to 31 points, the Victory ensured that Leo football club confirmed their top spot finish in northern zone .
For Anyafio FC, it is a big blow in their bid to beat up relegation as they have now been confirmed relegated from 4th division with only 3points after 11 games this season and remained on the 7th position with only one game left on their menu.
Leo football club will be away to Oli Rising stars on Friday June 17th on their Last game of the season while Anyafio will visit Ediofe Hills on the same day at St. Mary's Ediofe secondary school Playgrounds.
The zonals are set to kick off on 25th June 2022 with arrival of clubs on 24th June 2022 across Nile and Nyagak zones Respectively.
