Match Preview: Gaddafi FC Welcomes Onduparaka FC at Kakindu Stadium In Jinja City

Gaddafi FC and Onduparaka FC are up again on the third time fixture clash in the Startimes Uganda Premier League encounter at Kakindu Stadium  in Jinja City as of Tuesday 12th, October 2022. The two teams have never won over each other hence both aim to register their first win.  

The past two meetings in the 2022/2023 season all ended in a draw were the first leg played at Ababet Greenlight stadium ended in a barren 0:0 draw whereas the second return leg ended in a 2:2 draw were the 85th minute goal from Nathan Oloro saved the visiting Onduparaka FC team from conceding defeat in Jinja.

Onduparaka FC come into this game with a desperate need to win as they now start a season journey having paid back the two points deduction as per the FUFA Executive committee ruling due to the misconduct during the Arua Derby game. The Onduparaka team under the captaincy of  goal keeper Mathius Mwanga has not conceded any goal out of the two matches played which all ended in a barren draw (07/10/2022 Onduparaka FC 0:0 SC Villa and 01/10/20220 - 0URA FC 0:0 Onduparaka FC).  However Gadafi FC on the other hand have only played one game in which they lost 2:0 to SC Villa as of 02/10/20222 at Villa Park. 

Gaddafi FC currently are 14th on the UPL table having played one game with zero points whereas Onduparaka FC are 12th on the UPL table having played two games with zero points as well after been deducted two of their points accumulated.

Onduparaka FC is a West Nile based club based in Arua city and are in their seventh season time in the top tier Uganda Premier League appearance whereas Gadafi FC is the Eastern region Jinja based club that got promoted into the top tier Uganda Premier League as of 2021 and are currently in for their second year run in the Uganda Premier League season. 

The two clubs are all hungry to register their first win of the season, Onduparaka are in dare need of a win as Gadafi FC are more desperate to a bounce back while at home having suffered an away 2:0 defeat at Villa Park on Match day one.
