The Federation of Uganda Foot Ball Association (FUFA) through The National COVID19 Task Force has distributed food relief items to licensed foot ball clubs across the country.
This comes after President Yoweri Museveni with advise from the Ministry of Health- Uganda announced an extension of 21 days of lockdown to monitor the COVID19 situation in the country.
According to FUFA, all the licenced clubs will benefit from the donations, and this will be distribputed to the players and club officials.
The categories of players meant to receive the items are:- licensed players in the 16 Uganda Premier League Clubs, 18 FUFA Big League Club, 7 FUFA Women's Super League Clubs and 14 FUFA Women's Elite League Clubs.
However in West Nile region, some of the club's that have confirmed receipt of the items includes, ONDUPARAKA FOOTBALL CLUB (130kgs of rice), Doves All Stars Fc (135kgs of rice) and Paidha Black Angels (140kg of rice).

All the clubs within and outside West Nile region that have received the items go on their official social media platforms to confirm and appreciate the donations.
FUFA is mandated by the National COVID19 Task Force to distribute the items and later report back to the taskforce.
