The stage is set for the much-anticipated TotalEnergies CAF African Nations Championship (CHAN) 2024, which will take place in East Africa for the first time since Rwanda hosted the tournament in 2016.
Nairobi, Kenya, played host to a glittering draw ceremony at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC) on January 15, unveiling an intriguing line-up for the finals scheduled for August 2025.
The tournament, a showcase of talent exclusively featuring players who ply their trade in their domestic leagues, promises thrilling football action and a platform for homegrown stars to shine on the continental stage.
Group A: Battle of the Giants
Host nation Kenya faces a daunting challenge in Group A, often referred to as the "Group of Death." Sharing the pool with two-time champions Morocco and DR Congo, as well as Angola and Zambia, Kenya will need to bring their A-game to advance. Group B: Tanzania's Stable Path
