ARUA HILL SC HUMBLES KCCA TO A 3:1 DEFAET AT BARIFA

Arua Hill SC registers its first win of the 2022/2023 Uganda Premier League season up against the 13th times champions - KCCA FC as they humiliate the Kasasiro Boys to a 3:1 defeat at Barifa Stadium in Arua city. As the first game of the season for the Kongolo Duos, the Arua Hill SC remained a better side as they dominated the KCCA FC team and later would convert an early goal in 12th Minute off from the new signee Isaac Okwang. The 12' Minute goal came off Isaac Ogwang  as he finds the back of the net with a beauty of a header from a Wahab free kick after Majwega had fouled Allan Mugalu in the 10th minute of the play. 

As a better team, Arua Hill SC missed on many chances as Rashid Kawawa missed a perfect head finish in the  17'th Minute  when he missed to double the lead from a beautiful Atendele delivery and also the 27th minute missed chance. Captain Toha Rashid's 47' Goal would later confirm a double lead as he puts a perfect head finish to the back of the net. With more chances to Kawawa, the 59' minute Rashid Kawawa goal would later put fine wine to the party as the Kongolo Boys avenge a perfect 3:0 win in the 59th minute. However, Arua Hill SC's late extra minute own goal off Vuni's header would later on bring a consolation goal to put the final whistle at a 3:1. Gadafi Wahab's two goal assists would later on confirm him as the man of the match.

Arua Hill SC are now 5th on the Uganda Premier League as they starts the 2022/2023 season on a good note. Arua Hill SC now awaits to face off Maroons FC as of 22nd, 10/2022. It should be noted that Arua Hill SC's fixture against Vipers awaits confirmation from FUFA. 

Arua Hill SC are in for their second time in the Uganda premier league and the win confirms the dominance over KCCA having lost one and won twice in the past three meetings.  They are now 5th on the table.
