Arua sports club, URA football club and KCCA have both reportedly expressed an interest in signing Onduparaka striker Mohammed Shaban.

The 24-year-old target man scored 15 times for Onduparaka football club in StarTimes Uganda premier last season, having missed some of the opening fixtures for Onduparaka due to a knee injury.

According to Reliable source to Dailywestnile.info, Arua Hill  sports club ,KCCA  and URA are amongst a host of clubs in Uganda premier league chasing the West Nile province and Uganda Cranes goal magician with  clubs from Egypt, Tunisia,Spain and Croatia all holding talks with the player.

Shaban was heavily linked with a move to the Arua Hill before his return to Onduparaka football club and could be available for a cut-price fee this transfer market after the Expirery of his one year contract with Onduparaka football club today.

Charles Livingstone Mbabazi's side may soon be in the market for a new centre-forward, with the club's ambition to win the championship in their second season in the Uganda premier league while the Kasasiro Boys are also on the hunt for a striker with the club aiming to improve on their goal drought last season.


It's understood that Onduparaka football club are willing to tie their iconic skipper to a new contract by offering him 10million Ugandan shillings as his sign on fees, with Arua Hill sports club tabling out 35million Ugandan shillings,URA also willing to give 35 million Ugandan shillings and with KCCA Ready to offer 50 million Ugandan shillings.


However some time back in an interview with Radio Pacis 94.5 Fm hosted by Radio Pacis sport journalist Imbapi Suso ,the forward did hide his desire to remain with his childhood club as he said he is happy to remain at the club and is optimistic about the future.


“If I am to play within Uganda next season,then it should be Onduparaka,I can’t play against my childhood club.That will be betrayal”,These are the words of Shaban on his future.
