Arua Based Oasis Primary School Advances to The Odilo Girls National Football Championships Semi Finals

With an unbeaten record so fa after three games, Arua based Oasis Primary School are up for the Semi Finals of the Odilo National Girl's Football Tournament  slated to play off Habanom Quality Primary School as of Today 31st August, 2022 - a game that will be live on FUFA TV as its played off from Fufa Technical Center Njeru Pitch one. 

Habanom Quality Primary School finished second on the log hence in the draws based on the team ranking powers, they face Oasis Primary School who at the moment stand a better stand off than them.

Oasis had been impressive in the play offs as they registered wins against teams like Otino Waa (From Lira City) whom they thrashed 1:0.

Out of the three games, oasis registered it massive win against the  Nyakatooma III Primary School whom they thrashed 3:0 in the second day of the play off.  With this result, Oasis are now set to face

“Odilo”, meaning “a ball” in the Luo dialect, is a strategic plan by FUFA President Hashim Magogo, to tap into the country’s raw talent and also get back to the ground level and introduce competitive football, according to Dr. Apollo Ahimbisibwe an Executive Committee member at the federation.

“Odilo is intended to get back to the ground and introduce competitive football to the underage categories with the aim of tapping young talents to prepare them become better footballers. It is one of the ways for implementing the FUFA strategic plan.” He said at a press meeting.
