It was a revamping mood in Lira at the Akibua Memorial Stadium as the mighty Lira based Blacks Power FC picked her first point in the maiden 2022/2023 Startimes Uganda Premier League season appearance over the 8 times Uganda Premier league side Soltilo Bright Stars FC. With a perfect start for the home team in the first half, the Blacks Power FC displayed a stable play which later made them to open the score card in the 32nd minutes of the play through Forward Faizal Muwawu's goal which ushered in a short leaved 1:0 win. However, the visitors - Soltilo Bright Stars FC would immediately level matters to an even 1:1 draw in the 34' minutes goal which came off Muhammed Kyeyune's strike at the back of the net. The fulltime whistle later confirmed the 34 minute 1:1 standings as the Fulltime score line between the two teams at Akibua Memorial Stadium in Lira City.
The 26 years old experienced Forward Faizal Muwawu was named the pilsner man of the match having helped his team Blacks Power FC to obtain a point through his 32' minute goal.

With the 1:1 even draw up against Soltilo Bright Stars FC, the Blacks Power FC are now learning the art of playing amongst the big boys in the Startimes Uganda Premier League as they sit 13th on the log displacing the Onduparaka FC who are now 14th on the table however with a match at hand as they travel to Jinja to faceoff the tricky Gadafi FC at home in Kakindu Stadium as of Wednesday 12th 2022.

Previously the club was known as Bukedi Town FC before the purchase and rebranding of the club to Blacks Power FC and 2022/2023 becomes their debutant season appearance in the top tier Ugandan league. Bright Stars FC, also known as Soltilo Bright Stars, is a Ugandan football club based in Matugga, Kampala - Uganda. They play in the top division of Ugandan football, the Ugandan premier League and are currently in their 8th season appearance in the Top tier Uganda premier league.
Bright Stars FC so far have played three games and drew in all the three times with three points at the moment and as per the post, the coach is confident of better play and bounce back.
