Onduparaka FC has suspended all club activities indefinitely following fan violence that erupted after their 1-0 defeat to Ntungassaze in the FUFA Big League. The decision was announced by club chairman Nyakuni Benjamin on Monday, citing the extensive vandalism caused by frustrated supporters.

Reports indicate that a section of fans, angered by the unexpected loss, resorted to destroying club property, including the perimeter fence, sponsorship boards, and other infrastructure at the stadium. The chaotic scenes have drawn widespread condemnation from football stakeholders and authorities.

Onduparaka, who currently sit 11th on the Big League table with 22 points from 18 matches, were scheduled to face Gaddafi FC in Entebbe on Sunday. However, with training sessions already halted due to the suspension, doubts loom over whether the team will honor the fixture.

The club is yet to issue a statement on the way forward, and it remains unclear when normal operations will resume. Meanwhile, football authorities are expected to intervene to address the situation and ensure the safety of players, officials, and fans going forward.
