Gaddafi FC has officially parted ways with head coach Allan Kabonge following a string of disappointing results in the FUFA Big League.

The decision comes after the club struggled to maintain form in their push for promotion to the Uganda Premier League. Kabonge, who was appointed at the start of the season, was expected to guide the team to top-tier football, given his track record of helping clubs like Onduparaka, Masavu, and Paidha Black Angels secure promotion in the past.

However, Gaddafi FC's performances in recent matches have failed to meet expectations, with the team dropping crucial points. Their latest setback was a home draw against Kiyinda Boys, extending their winless run and putting their promotion hopes at risk.

The club management expressed appreciation for Kabonge’s efforts but stated that a change in leadership was necessary to revive the team's performance. They are yet to announce his replacement, but sources suggest that an interim coach could be named in the coming days.

Fans are now eager to see how the team responds to this decision as they continue their fight for promotion in the FUFA Big League.
