The West Nile Zone Secondary School Sports Association (WNZSSSA) has officially released the group draws for the highly anticipated Boys Football competition, igniting a wave of excitement across schools and communities in the region.

The tournament, which brings together top secondary school teams from across West Nile, promises intense rivalries and a showcase of raw talent as schools battle for regional supremacy.

The competition is divided into eight groups, each featuring five formidable teams:

Group A is headlined by the ever-competitive St. Charles Lwanga and includes Arua Public SS, Oleba Seed, Rhino Camp High, and St. Aloysious College Nyapea. Fans are already marking their calendars for what is expected to be a fierce battle in this group of football giants.


Group B features powerhouses like Mvara SS and Adjumani Model, alongside Itula SS, Katrini SS, and a determined LC3 side.


Group C sees Maracha Domestic clashing with Lefori Seed, Rhino Camp SS, Panyango SS, and LC6. All eyes will be on this group as emerging teams aim to make their mark.


Group D has Nile High Odia, Comboni, Alwi SS, Nyarilo SS, and Siripi SS — a group known for technical flair and passionate support.


Group E comprises Maracha SS, Palorinya SS, Mamba SS, along with the yet-to-be-identified qualifiers L1 and L4.


Group F is stacked with fan favorites including Arua SS, Yumbe SS, Kololo Public, Okufra SS, and St. Francis of Assisi, making it one of the most competitive groups in this year’s edition.


Group G will see Paidha SS lock horns with Moyo Stars, Midgo SS, Kijomoro, and Ushindi SS in what many are calling the “dark horse” group.


Group H rounds out the lineup with Kochi SS, Yikuru SS, Yangani SS, LC2, and LC5 — a group brimming with potential upsets and rising stars.


The tournament is expected to kick off soon with venues and fixtures to be announced. Fans across the region are gearing up to rally behind their schools in a display of unity, pride, and passion for the beautiful game.
