The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has officially announced the match schedule for the TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Morocco 2025, setting the stage for one of Africa’s biggest sporting events.
The tournament will kick off on 21 December 2025 and conclude with the grand final on 18 January 2026, promising a month of intense football action across Morocco’s premier stadiums.

The Uganda Cranes will begin their AFCON 2025 journey with a high-stakes match against Tunisia on 23 December 2025. This Group Stage encounter is expected to be a thrilling contest, as both teams vie for early dominance in their group.
Uganda’s second match will be against the neighbors Tanzania on 28 December 2025, rekindling the fierce East African rivalry. The Cranes will wrap up their Group Stage matches with a challenging fixture against Nigeria on 2 January 2026, a match that could be decisive in determining Uganda’s progression to the knockout rounds.
The tournament will feature 52 matches played in six cities: Rabat, Casablanca, Marrakech, Agadir, Fes, and Tangier. The Complexe Sportif Prince Moulay Abdellah in Rabat will host both the opening match and the final, alongside key knockout fixtures.
