Excitement is building ahead of the start of the third (3rd) division league in the westnile Region, which kicks off this weekend, 5th November 2022, with a mouthwatering eleven (12) fixtures on the first matchday.

All the twelve teams in the 12 teams in each group will be involved in action, hence six (6) matches in the group.

New league entrants Ocoko United and Kuluva RW, will both play in front of their home supporters. 

Mvara Boys will host Paidah Black Angles at Bishop stadium in mvara @ gate fee of 3,000k while Pakwachi Young Stars will pay a visit to Hotsprings fc at Nebbi ss Playground .
In Maracha, Okokoro United will take on Nyai Football Young Stars at Alivu primary school playground while Araka Football club will take on FHL at Boma grounds in Yumbe.
Young Villa will be at home in Paridi taking on Koboko Rising Stars.

Last season’s runners-up who doubled as last season’s ‘usual’ favorites and finalists, Nebbi Central football club on Sunday will play visit the Heartbeats of Westnile that's Arua city football club at Ababet Greenlight stadium in Onduparaka.
Meanwhile Paidah United on Sunday are set to host Pajobi United in a "Greater Alur Derby in a new boys regional league affair at Kings Stadium in Cana.

Kuluva RW, under the tutelage of Adiga Morish aka Pep, will host Pakwachi Super Eagles at Hospital view Arena.
Meanwhile Comboni are set to face off with Westnile United at Paridistadium.
Elsewhere, Odramachaku will take on TISHA at Border View Arena down in Odramachaku.

To set the standards, Westnile Region has put up restrictions to be followed in addition to the already existing FIFA, CAF and FUFA rules.

A team will be considered late after 3:00pm (15:00 hours), and this will culminate into a fine of fifty thousand Uganda shillings (50,000/=) only, which is payable to westnile Region Football Associations Competitions Committee through the Referee Assessor before the match kicks off.

No match shall kick off after 4:45pm (16:45 hours).
The club head coach and the club security & safety officer must present their practicing license for inspection on the matchday.

A minimum of five (5) branded and easily identifiable home team’s safety & security officers, with at least one of them being licensed, must be physically present at the ground for a match to kick off.
