Blacks Power FC pulled off a stunning victory against last season’s Uganda Cup finalists, NEC FC, with a 2-0 win in the Round of 32. The Big League side showcased resilience and clinical finishing to knock out the Uganda Premier League club at their own turf.
After a goalless first half, Innocent Maduka broke the deadlock in the 58th minute, giving Blacks Power a well-deserved lead. NEC pushed for an equalizer, but the visitors held firm and sealed the victory in the 81st minute through Joshua Omara.
