WEST NILE PERFORMING ARTIST APPEAL TO MUHOOZI FOR FUNDS TO ESTABLISH MODERN VIDEO & AUDIO STUDIO IN THE REGION
The performing artists of West Nile sub region under their umbrella body of West Nile Musicians Association are seeking support from General Muhoozi Kainerugaba, the first son of president of Uganda, Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, this development comes ahead of MK's expected visit to the region scheduled for Saturday 22nd/10/2022. According to the union spokes person, this if considered would uplift the music industry in the sub region. The proposal therefore puts forward a request to establish a powerful and well-furnished studios for both audio and video production to enable them better the lacking production quality which has for long barred them from national competition.
In an interaction with journalists at hotel Le confidential in Arua city as of Thursday 20th/10/2022, the artist under their umbrella body anonymously agreed to this submission and said MK's coming is a timely . As the preparations are on high gear to welcome General Muhoozi Kainerugaba in Arua city, West Nile sub region, Mubaraka Mandela known by his stage name A.KA. Free boy says that as west Nile artists they are very talented but they are lacking quality studios and Music equipment’s that are limiting their music to move far. Freeboy also revealed that he is happy that MK has come as a savior to save the industry as he speaks to dailywestnile.info.
Benard Eriku A.K.A Pingoman also one of the artists in the region amplified the same voice to the genera Muhoozi Kainerugaba and thanked him for coming to the region and requested MK to have a consideration of having a separate ministry for the artists. Key to his suggestion to MK is to offer financial help to the existing SACCO of the artists in the region and premised to lobby support from fellow artist to work in unity and push forward the MK agenda as well as welcome him to the region

Issa Irishaad A.KA. LP shady the spoke persons of the association noted that most of the artists in other regions have benefited from the offers from the government but west Nile sub region was neglected. He further calls for more MK support to help change mindset of the artists and their livelihood.
General Kainerugaba is coming to west Nile on Saturday 22/10/2022 to launch sports activities in west Nile aiming at improving lives and providing employment opportunities for the youth in the area.
