In a fervent display of faith and community spirit, Mr. Anguyo Richard, the commissioned Chairperson of the organizing committee, extends a heartfelt invitation to all God-loving individuals and communities to join in a day of thanksgiving and a Mega Fundraising Drive. Scheduled for Sunday, April 7, 2024, the event marks the celebration of Bishop Rt. Rev. Charles Collins Andaku's seven years as Chief Shepherd of the Diocese, and endeavors to raise funds for the construction of the Diocesan Golden Jubilee Office Block.

The event, to be held at Arua Core Primary Teachers' College playground in Mvara, will commence with a church service starting from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. The esteemed Chief Guest, Rt. Hon. Anita Annet Among, Speaker of the Parliament of The Republic of Uganda, along with Mr. Kenda Odu, are expected to grace the occasion. The main preacher for the day will be the Bishop of Diocese of Nebbi, Rt. Rev. Pons Ozelle Awinjo.

The fundraising modality, on a voluntary basis, involves individuals or groups purchasing one or more books of the Bible at Shs. 1,000,000 each, equivalent to the cost of an engineer's pillar. With a target of raising a minimum of Shs. 1,000,000,000 (Uganda Shillings One Billion), the organizing committee appeals for generous contributions towards this noble cause.

Mr. Anguyo Richard emphasizes the significance of collective effort, urging attendees to extend their support through prayers, financial contributions, or material assistance. Registrations and contributions can be made either through bank transfers to designated accounts or by contacting Mr. Feta Richard, the Treasurer of the organizing committee.

As preparations intensify, the committee expresses gratitude for the overwhelming support received thus far and welcomes further engagement and participation from all corners. For inquiries, reservations, or contributions, interested parties are encouraged to reach out to the undersigned.

Let us join hands in gratitude and generosity, as we come together to commemorate milestones and contribute to the advancement of the Diocese's noble endeavors. May this event be a testament to the power of faith and unity in realizing shared aspirations.
